Welcome to Voxtec’s User Center where our Language Modules (“Modules”) and translation system software applications are made available to our customers to download. Language Modules are pre-defined English “Source” language sets of words and phrases designed to run on Voxtec’s Phraselator® P2 and SQU.ID® SQ.200 translation systems to help overcome communication barriers between individuals who do not share a common language. Language Modules can also be designed and used to increase language learning capability and revitalize less commonly spoken languages and dialects. Language Modules consist of the following attributes:
- Once defined and structured into relevant categories and / or sequences, the English Source words and phrases are then translated and recorded in one or more “Target” languages (any language other than English) by fluent Linguists or Native speakers
- All Language Modules are created using Voxtec’s proprietary Module Builder software
- All Language Modules are designed and validated using Voxtec’s proprietary Language Module development process
CMH Triage Assessment 26v2
Medical – Triage Assessment is part of the Children's Medical Hospital (CMH) suite and offers phrases in English and Spanish for assisting hospital staff with basic patient check-in, assessment, and medical history. Categories cover such topics as patient and family greetings, verification of reason for visit / of patient ID / of relation to child / of relation to patient, ID bracelet issuance, requesting patient PCP information, assessment of patient / pain, obtaining information on inoculation and exposure / current medications / medical history, allergies assessment, close triage interaction, wait time expressions, examination room information, determining other reasons for visit, giving directions with and without a map, sending to security, and contacting language services. Categories that cover basic phrases and which explain the Phraselator device are also included.

Categories exist for Census Operations, Military Service, Tactical Questions and Instructions, IED and Weapon Locations, Occupation Mission, Orders and Instructions, Training Foreign Forces, Range Orientation and Directions, Firing Line Commands, Contracting, Conversation, and Medical.

This module is based on the Air Crew Guide published by the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) and is intended to provide language skills (http://fieldsupport.dliflc.edu/) for CENTCOM personnel. It contains words and phrases that have been found to be most useful for Emergency Transmission, General Air Traffic Control, Communication Clarification, Landing & Taxi & Departure Instructions, Airfield Specifics, Cargo Handling, Maintenance, Fuel & Weather. In addition to the standard translation with audio playback and displayed target language text, the module has an “Educational” translation where the translation is played at normal speed and then at slow speed with the transliterated text displayed.
